MICHELLE is a semi-displacement hull design with 28
feet (8.5m) beam and is capable of 19 knots and is
powered by two Caterpillar 3512B main engines which
develop 2,250 hp each. The shallow draft of 7' 6"
(2.3m) will enable her to gain access to many ports
uncommon for a yacht of this size. A 16,100 gallon
(62,460 L) fuel tank will allow a large cruising range
of approximately 4,200 nm at 10 knots (with 10% fuel
by Trinity's head designer Geoff van Aller, LADY MICHELLE
has been designed and built with special consideration
for European operations. She will accommodate an owner's
party of ten (10) in five (5) staterooms and a crew
of nine (9) in five (5) cabins, there is also an additional
day room with a full bath that can accommodate an
additional two guests if required. There is also large
tender storage aft in the hull with an overhead crane
for a 21ft tender.
Specific design features include a panoramic sky lounge
opening to a covered exterior deck aft on the pilothouse
level and has dining for twelve (12). On the main
deck there is a full beam master stateroom with an
offset master king size berth and large bathroom forward.
There are separate closets for the owner and wife
and an attached office. Moving aft, there is a beautiful
spiral staircase that connects all levels and a large
open plan main salon and dining room that opens out
onto an aft deck with an air conditioned exterior
seating and lounging area. Above there is a vast sundeck
sporting an enormous sun pad, Jacuzzi, partially enclosed
forward section with bar and grill aft for dining
al fresco. LADY MICHELLE has a stabilizing
system featuring the Quantum Zero Speed ™ (at
rest) stabilizers that create a steady platform under
any conditions. There is a large swim platform at
the stern with two staircases leading to the main
interior has been designed by Dee Robinson Interiors
and the attention to detail can be clearly seen throughout
LADY MICHELLE. The interior can be described as simple
yet elegant and leans towards being more contemporary
than traditional in design. Exquisite materials such
as hand finished Makore and Anegre hardwood along
with fine inlaid Bianco Scintillante and Azul Macauba
marble are used throughout the yacht. LADY MICHELLE
is comfortably self sufficient for long periods of
time in the most remote locations.
yacht will also have a 4,000lb davit with a 20ft.
boom, a 2,500 lb gantry crane and a 150hp bow thruster
to assist in maneuvering. LADY MICHELLE will carry
a variety of water toys; amongst which are, two (2)
two person wave-runners, 13ft. (3.9m) tender, 21ft.
(6.4m) RIB, two (2) kayaks and Scuba equipment for
four (4) people. She also has a 32 ft. (9.7 m) Intrepid
which will be available for some charter guests.
