MGulfport,
Mississippi, USA - April 10 th, 2007 - Trinity Yachts,
LLC announced it has delivered the 161 ft. (49m) tri-deck
superyacht LOHENGRIN.
After
completing her sea trials, the stylish LOHENGRIN with
her stylish exterior and sleek contemporary lines, left
recently for Fort Lauderdale to be received by her new
owners.
Designed
and built by Trinity Yachts, the exterior styling is
smooth and curvaceous with continuous horizontal lines.
The exterior design uses vertical pilothouse windows
and has copious exterior deck space for relaxing and
entertaining. The interior was created with impeccable
style and elegance by the world renown interior designer,
Scott Carpenter.
This
161 ft. x 28 ft. (49m x 8.5m) motoryacht is powered
by two (2) Caterpillar 3512 B rated marine engines at
2,250hp each at 1925 rpm and encased in a heavily insulated
engine room. The yacht is capable of a maximum speed
of over 20 knots at trial load and can cruise at 18
knots. LOHENGRIN will carry approximately 16,000 gallons
(60,560L) of fuel giving her transatlantic capability
and has a fresh water capacity of approximately 2,700
gallons (10,210).
LOHENGRIN
can accommodate an Owner's party of ten (10) in five
spaciously planned staterooms in mahogany with en suite
baths exquisitely finished with inlaid marble. Each
of the guests' staterooms are located below deck. There
are three staterooms with king size berths, one with
twin berths. These are handily connected to the crew
area so that they can be serviced by the interior staff
without laundry being hauled up to the main deck before
being taken down to the laundry room in the crew area.
Another
significant design feature is that the interior 'formal'
dining saloon does not occupy the whole beam so that
diners can have the privacy of closed doors while allowing
crew to pass fore and aft on the interior passageway.
While
dining on board, the Owner can choose the elegance of
the formal dining area on the interior main deck or
an alfresco experience on either the air-conditioned
aft exterior main deck or the aft exterior pilothouse
deck. The full beam sky lounge will allow the Owners
to entertain their guests in either a formal or casual
atmosphere.
The
Portuguese bridge seating area is located fwd the vertical
windows of the pilot house. The popular extended stern
swim platform, is becoming something of a trademark
for the Trinity yachts. At approximately 14ft. the platform
has developed into a very functional deck and is large
enough to allow dining at water level or parking for
jet skis.
On
the sundeck, accessed via a spiral staircase, there
is a double winged radar arch with a viewing window
on either side of the lower arch wings. The sundeck
includes a bar and dining area with a centrally placed
hot tub forward of the sunning area. A tender and two
jet skis are located at the rear of the sundeck.
The
full beam master stateroom, with over nine (9') feet
of headroom, incorporates an unusual split level design
with an 180 degree panorama making waking up in the
king size birth a pure delight. There is an elegant
sitting area and a luxurious ensuite his and hers baths
that includes a whirlpool tub and large marble shower
as well as heated inlaid marble floors.
A
crew of eight to ten (8-10) can operate efficiently
and comfortably due to the design and finish of the
crew accommodations and large crew lounge on board.
Forward of the guest accommodations below deck are three
(3) crew cabins, each with its own bath and shower and
the crew lounge. Aft of the engine room is the Engineer's
quarters with its double berth and bath with shower.
The captain's stateroom is located aft of the pilothouse
and includes a queen berth and a full bath with shower.
LOHENGRIN
is classed ABS, Maltese Cross, A1 Yachting Service,
AMS, and MCA compliant.
